2026 ANC Candidate Questionnaire

Advisory Neighborhood Commissions are the closest layer of government to where people live, and CSD believes they are also where LGBTQ+ political power starts. Every cycle we ask every ANC candidate in the District, not only the ones we already know, to complete this questionnaire.

CSD members use your answers to decide our ANC endorsements this fall. This is not a scored exam. A paragraph per question is plenty and there is no minimum.

Where your answers go: to CSD's endorsement committee, and if the club publishes a candidate guide for this election, into it in full on our public site. Members read it before they vote, which is the point of asking. Question 5.5 is a separate thing and asks about two directories, not about this. If you seek our endorsement we will share your name and SMD in a press release. Change your mind later and we will take your answers down: write to info@capitalstonewalldemocrats.com. Section 2, about your own identity, works differently again: nothing there is published unless you say so, answer by answer.
